The Flyers goaltending search continues.
According to ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun and E.J. Hradek, the Flyers were granted permission from the Dallas Stars to negotiate with soon-to-be unrestricted free agent goalie Marty Turco.
However, Turco turned down a three-year $6 million contract from the Flyers.
"Traded texts with Turco this morning who confirmed the Flyers' offer but said he wanted to see what was on the market Thursday," said LeBrun on his Twitter profile.
For Turco, he wants to see if he can land one more big contract as it'll likely be his last one. The 34-year-old has played nine seasons with the Stars while gathering solid career numbers of 262 wins, 2.31 goals against average, and a .911 save percentage.
