Despite a solid effort in Game Three, the Flyers find themselves on the brink of elimination Friday night against the Bruins.
When Arron Asham opened the scoring at 2:32 of the first period Wednesday, it marked the first time in the series the Flyers had the lead. Unfortunately for the Orange and Black, the lead lasted only 1:39 before Blake Wheeler beautifully tipped home a Matt Hunwick shot/pass from the point.
While the Flyers could easily be up 3-0 in this series themselves, give the Bruins credit. They played a great road game in Game Three, withstanding the home team's initial surge and capitalizing on their own chances.
