With Boston Bruins star center Marc Savard reportedly saying he would not object to a trade to either the Maple Leafs or the Senators, there is much speculation as to what kind of package Savard would require.
The Bruins main purpose for trading Savard is to clear up some cap space for the next seven years, so a trade to Ottawa is highly unlikely.
Brian Murray has been trying to find a trading partner for their star center in Jason Spezza. Spezza has stated that he would not object to a trade out of Ottawa but with the trading window being between now and July 1st before his no-trade clause kicks in, he is likely gonna be a Senator in the fall. With Spezza, the Senators have $13.325 million dedicated to their top three centers.
