Family. It's a Caniac thing. As the Carolina Hurricanes made their first headline in over a month since their disappointing 2009-2010 season concluded April 11, it appears that finally the 'Canes' overdone —and frankly stupid —ad campaign may finally have sunk in on someone. In exchange for a fifth-round pick in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, Phoenix sent the youngest of now four NHL brothers from the Staal family to Carolina. From the first glimpse, it seems clear that the Hurricanes made off pretty well with their 127th overall selection.
