Flyers goalie Brian Boucher will make his first start in between the pipes against the San Jose Sharks, with whom he spent the previous two seasons.
Boucher, 32, had a miserable preseason leading up to tweaking his groin in a game against New Jersey, which forced him to start the season on injured reserved. After just three games, the Flyers activated him, though he hasn't appeared in a game yet.
In 22 games last year with San Jose, Boucher posted a 12-6-0 record with a 2.18 GAA and a .918 save percentage. Boosh did a fabulous job backing up the Sharks No. 1 netminder, Evgeni Nabokov.
Ray Emery will get his first game off after starting the first seven games for Philadelphia.
