Everyone knows the story. The Detroit Lions selected quarterback Matthew Stafford with the first overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. That was just last year, yet people are already forgetting the controversy that surrounded the Lions for making that pick. Many fans were upset that Detroit passed on linebacker Aaron Curry, who many thought was the best overall player in the draft. Others thought they should have taken an offensive lineman to anchor the left side of their horrible line.
