Back in April 2009, the Green Bay Packers offered Greg Paulus a tryout with the team. Then on May 14, 2009, Paulus announced that he would play college football for the Syracuse Orange. He played decent, throwing for 2,025 yards with 13 touchdowns. and 14 interceptions. Besides a college quarterback rating of over 132, if it were an NFL quarterback rating, it would be a 82.9 rating with 67 percent of his passes completed.

After completing the year of college, the 6'1" 180-pounder was offered a tryout by the New Orleans Saints back in May. A contract was never offered.
