Happy anniversary, Vinny!
It’s been 10 years since Vinny Cerato joined the Washington Redskins as the team’s de facto general manager. It’s debatable how much power he’s had over the years; he was fired in 2001 by Marty Schottenheimer and he may or may not have been sidelined during the second Joe Gibbs era.
One thing’s for sure: The Redskins have gone through a few coaches, but Vinny has been more or less a constant. And those of us who follow the team are pretty sure that’s not about to change.
