The Vikings are giving Brett Favre something that he hasn't been given for over six years: time to think about his future. After being pushed into early retirement several times, the Vikings are playing the waiting game with Favre. The only difference between this game and the one he played with Green Bay for so many off-seasons is that the Vikings are willing to wait it out, even if it takes until August again.
