It was only one year ago that New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, went down with a torn ACL and MCL in the Patriots opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The injury cost him the entire 2008-2009 season and had the Patriots miss the playoffs for the first time in six seasons.
Tonight, on the 40th anniversary of Monday Night Football and the 50th anniversary of the New England Patriots, the spotlight was back on Brady and he performed in dramatic fashion.
In a game that some thought would be a Patriots romp, the Bills led by Trent Edwards almost pulled out a victory as they led 24-13 with just over five minutes remaining in the game.
