ESPN is reporting that the Jets and Chargers have come to terms on a trade that would send Antonio Cromartie to the Jets for a third round pick in the 2011 draft. That pick could reportedly become a second rounder if Cromartie meets some requirements during the season.
Cromartie trade rumors had been popping up all over the place the last few weeks and now we know for good reason. Cromartie will join a Jets backfield that already has arguably the best cover corner in the game in Darell Revis. Cromartie will replace Lito Sheppard who was let go earlier this week.
Cromartie is a four year veteran who has started 39 games over the last three seasons and amassed 15 interceptions, including a league high 10 in 2007.Read more NFL news on BleacherReport.com ...
