For the second consecutive day, Eli Manning has missed practice, and he could possibly miss the game on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
While Manning hopes to play on Sunday, his status will not be certain until game time.
Should Manning be unable to go, the New York Giants will turn to David Carr, the eight-year veteran who has been called everything from franchise player, to bust, to backup quarterback.
But Carr will have to take on another title if his number is called Sunday: the unlikely hero. While many Giants fans hope it will not come to this, the truth is the guy is not so bad.
