The NFL Scouting Combine is the biggest job interview a football player will ever have.
Since 1987, Indianapolis has been the annual home for the event and anybody who is anybody in the NFL attends.
Prior to landing in Indy, the Combine also took place in various places such as Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and Arizona.
The records of these early combines are hard to come by, but legend has it Bo Jackson ran a 4.12 40-yard dash in 1986 and others say Deion Sanders also ran under a 4.2, but the records indicated he ran a 4.28.
Other players such as Kyle Turley ('98), David Boston ('99), and Champ Bailey ('99) all turned in great performances as well.
