Just before TuesdayÆs NFL trade deadline, the New England Patriots made news by releasing veteran wide receiver Joey Galloway. Galloway never established a niche in the talented New England offense, and became expendable with Wes Welker getting healthy.
With all the talk recently about the possibility that the Chicago Bears might target a veteran receiver like Terrell Owens in a trade, would adding a speedy Galloway make sense for the Bears at this point?
