You have to wonder if Ravens marketing staff keeps up with blogs, because if they asked us humble scribes of day-job avoidance, they wouldÆve known that marketing Rally Towels for the Pittsburgh game was the worst idea to hit Baltimore since Target gift cards at the MayorÆs office.
Prior to this SundayÆs Ravens-Steelers game (Nov. 29, 8:20 p.m.), the Baltimore Ravens and Under Armour will provide over 71,000 fans with purple and white rally towels as they enter the gates of M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens are encouraging fans to wear all purple and waive their rally towel for the nationally-televised Sunday Night Football broadcast.
