The NFL's version of "black Monday" began this morning with the Redskins formally announcing their decision to fire head coach Jim Zorn. The Cleveland Browns and new team president Mike Holmgren have a similar decision to make with Eric Mangini, who's future with the team still hangs in the balance.
Cleveland has played well in the final month of the seasonùdefeating the arch-rival Pittsburgh Steelers en route to a four game winning streak. Those freezing December wins may have cooled Mangini's hot seat for the time being, but as Holmgren suggested in his press conference to the media, the decision will go beyond wins and loses.
