The Pontiac Silverdome was sold at an auction to an unidentified Canadian real estate agency on Monday for a measly $583,000.á
Now, a Michigan judge has put a hold on the sale because of a complaint that another company already had a deal to buy it.
But that's neither here nor there.á
Considering that the stadium was built for $55.7 million in 1975, I'd say that's a pretty good deal, and now I'm deeply regretting not taking out a home-loan to purchase the domed-mammoth.á
I'm just wondering if the first-time home buyers credit would count if I bought it?
I could have shipped off from a two-bedroom condo in Washington and set up shop at the Silverdome's 80,000-seat venue.á
There would be so many perks to moving into the lofty site, I can only begin to imagine...
