Last time I wrote a speculative piece involving a player that the Jets should be interested it, it was for Ben Hatsock, who was released by the Falcons and signed by the Jets the very next day. Well I'm going to try my luck again and say that the Jets should be interested in Hank Baskett. I think we saw on Sunday that the receiver position doesn't seem to be as big a problem as some were making it out to be.  We have capable receivers; however, I think that by signing Baskett it makes us better. Baskett stands at 6'4", 220 lbs and is a very big target.  This could only help out Sanchez, especially in the red zone.  The defence would then have to worry about Keller and Baskett size-wise, and many times one of them will be able to make a play.
