Yesterday, I analyzed the EaglesÆ first-quarter offensive progress. Now, itÆs time for the defense. In a word, itÆs been dominant. They rank third in the league in total yards allowed (and fifth in pass defense) and have had multiple games this season where theyÆve looked almost like the 1985 Bears for a good chunk of the game. Of course, thatÆs not always good enough, so weÆll see how they do overall. Like the offense, IÆll break this down by position (line, linebackers, secondary and specialists, since special teams really donÆt warrant its own category) and offer my analysis.
