Let's face it–Panthers fans are concerned, and genuinely should be. A disappointing 8-8 season in 2009 began an onset of questions and a general feeling of uneasiness for the future of the team.
The Panthers organization, however, has been anything but inactive during their current offseason. With the absence of Carolina veterans such as Peppers and Hoover along with many defensive players, fans have been anxiously awaiting the 2010 NFL draft (April 22nd).
In addition to these cuts, quarterback Jake Delhomme was also released. It also does not help that head coach John Fox is on shaky grounds after not living up to the teams' previous 2008 season. With all of these changes being made, it is easy to see that Carolina is trying to build a "younger" team.
