On the second day of Christmas, ESPN gave to me two unbeaten teams. Only two seasons after the New England Patriots finished the regular season unbeaten, there are two teams that could potentially do the same.
Led by Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints have quietly started the season 13-0. They have not had as much recognition as the Indianapolis Colts. They have also been overshadowed by the emerging Minnesota Vikings with Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson.
This team has a great offense led by Brees throwing to Marques Colston, Devery Henderson, and Robert Meachem. Brees is helped by having Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush in the backfield.
