Last summer the Jets were trying to acquire Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall but Denver's demands were too high. The asking price was at least linebacker David Harris and maybe even a first round draft pick.
Marshall remained in Denver and caught over a hundred passes for the third year in a row, and now as a restricted free agent he looks destined to leave Denver.
Teams don't want to surrender a first round draft pick for the disgruntled receiver because of the baggage he would bring, and because they have leverage over the Broncos whose relationship with Marshall is now rockier than ever.
