There are so many who believe that the Oakland Raiders are an anomaly because of the structure of the front office.
That may not be the case.
A survey of all of the front offices for the 32 NFL teams was conducted on March 24, 2010. A tally of the data was completed in several categories. There may be a few variations in the tally because all systems are dynamic— people are hired, fired, or other from day-to-day. However, the general structure usually stays the same.
In the categories of front office, head coaches and assistants, offensive coaches, defensive coaches, special teams, and strength and conditioning coaches, tallies were done. Comparisons with the Oakland Raiders are listed at the end of the article.
