In terms of importance, this NFL offseason is off the charts. With an uncapped year coming up, a completely unreasonable lockout in sight, and a gap in competitiveness the size of which this league has never seen, this is the crossroads for Roger Goodell and the NFL.
Bottom-feeding teams like the Rams, Lions, Chiefs, and Redskins will be looking to stock up as much firepower as fiscally possible, and with the type of talent available this year, they have limitless possibilities. They could trade their high picks to teams looking to fill that one last spot for multiple players and picks.
