The New York Jets turned a mediocre regular season into a near Super Bowl appearance in 2009, as the Jets snuck their way into the playoffs at 9-7. The Jets went on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers before falling victim to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game.
