Eight years ago a new type of football was introduced into the NFL. The dual threat quarterback was born when Mike Vick was brought to the Atlanta Falcons organization. Now, eight years, 71 passing touchdowns, six seasons, and 21 months in prison have brought Vick into a promising role in the Philadelphia Eagles offense.
Vick is calling his return to the NFL " a dream come true," áand Coach Andy Reid has full confidence in Vick to stay focused on and off the field. Vick's second chance has given grievance and anger to NFL fans all over, and even those who are not NFL fans have opinions. The protesters gathered the Philly streets when Vick's signing was announced, but the Eagles' organization is fully confident with their decision.
