The Dolphins hosted restricted free agent linebacker Rashad Jeanty on Thursday, which could be a precursor to him signing an offer sheet. In that event, the Bengals would have seven days to match the Dolphins' offer and retain Jeanty, but would not receive any compensation if they decide not to match due to the low tender they gave Jeanty. In Miami, Jeanty would be a reserve linebacker and special-teamer, though he could compete for playing time on defense.
Newly-signed guard Richie Incognito will wear No. 68 for the Dolphins, according to the team's official website. Incognito previously wore the number with the St. Louis Rams from 2005 to 2009, before switching to No. 62 with the Bills last season after No. 68 was taken by former Dolphins guard Seth McKinney in Buffalo.
