Miami Dolphins 2010 first-round pick Jared Odrick has reportedly parted ways with agent Peter Schaffer, according to the Sports Business Journal.
Per league rules, Odrick must wait five days after firing his agent to hire new representation.
It is unclear at this point what led to Odrick's decision and what kind of effects, if any, it will have on his contract negotiations with the Dolphins.
The 28th overall pick in last month's draft, Odrick was a two-time All-Big Ten selection at Penn State and was named the conference's defensive player of the year as a senior in 2009.
