This is not a pro or anti JaMarcus Russell article. I will not be discussing the same old rhetoric about him that is so prevalent today.
This will focus only on his physical tools. The natural gifts he was given and the ones that should be getting coached into him.
I am looking at this simply as a coach evaluating a quarter back. Analyzing his mechanics, fundamentals and his his play. Nothing more.
I will be honest in both the positive things I see as well as the negatives. When he does something well, you'll know it. When he does something wrong, you'll know that too.
This is not an assault on Russell's character. This is an honest, thorough discussion about what makes him look great at times and what makes him look pretty bad three plays later.
