In shocking news today, Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis announced the signing of Cornbread.
Cornbread, largely unknown, attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, from 2002 to 2006. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota.
Cornbread joined the Australian American Football Association (AAFA) and played for the Sydney Crocodiles, Canberra Dundees, and Melbourne Dingos.
"This starts a new era of Raiders football," Davis said. "Cornbread will become an elite quarterback for the Raiders, and may go down as the greatest of all time."
"...Of all time!" Davis added.
This is the first time that a player from the AAFA has gone on to the NFL. Davis believes that this will begin an influx of other AAFA players.
