Today, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that Donovan McNabb would be traded to the Washington Redskins for a second round pick in 2010 and a third or fourth round pick in 2011. This move was surprising, and now causes an interesting decision for the Seattle Seahawks.
How, you ask?
Well, many people have predicted the Redskins to take Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen in the upcoming NFL Draft. Now, in wake of the trade, they probably will not.
The Chiefs would pick next, and even with GM Scott Pioli drafting (see 2009), they won't pick Clausen when they have Cassel. The Lions are a candidate for a DT, but after the Corey Williams acquisition, Russell Okung is more likely. The Buccaneers will pick Suh. The Rams have all but signed Bradford.
