Hockey’s Future has been running down their top 50 prospect rankings the past couple of days. One Ranger prospect, Derek Stepan at No. 44, has already made the list and now another, Evgeny Grachev, has also made the list at No. 18 overall.
Here is what they had to say about him:
"Selected by the NY Rangers in the third round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Grachev was considered to be a steal by organization brass. The OHL Rookie of the Year for 2008-09, Grachev adjusted well to the North American game and was very impressive in Rangers training camp.
