In my first article I discussed possible draft picks for the Packers in what one could argue was its position of greatest need—offensive tackle.
This article is focused on the team's most glaring need on defense— corner-back.
The Packers successfully switched to a 3-4 defense last year and had the defensive player of the year, Charles Woodson.
However, the secondary did not hold up well against elite quarterbacks like Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisburger and Kurt Warner. It can be debated whether this was due to a lack of a pass rush or poor secondary performance, but either way the Packers need to address the corner-back situation.
Woodson is playing better than ever, but he will be 34 this year and has had a few minor but nagging injuries.
