After a game that saw some curious decisions that possibly cost the San Diego Chargers a victory, head coach Norv Turner did little to ease the concerns of a disappointed fanbase.
What he did do is vocalize what many people may have been thinking after the first two weeks of the season.
“After two games I don't think right now we're as good as you that cover us think or expect us to be,” he said to the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I don't think we're as good as what our fans want us to be."
For several years now, the Chargers have been a chic pick to win the Super Bowl due to the fact that, on paper, they have arguably the most talented roster in the NFL.
But games are not played on paper.
