Due to headaches stemming from his concussion he received in Week 11, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not compete in Week 12 's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
FOX's Jay Glazer has reported, via Twitter, that Roethlisberger will miss this week's action due to exercise-induced headaches, which has prompted the coaching staff to give him an extra week for recovery.
Given the effects concussions have had on other stars such as Clinton Portis and Brian Westbrook this season, the Pittsburgh management chose to be extra careful with their franchise quarterback.
