One week after publicly ridiculing Las Vegas oddsmakers for installing the New Orleans Saints as three-point favorites over the New York Giants, Mike Greenberg, co-host of ESPN's Mikeá& Mike ,áphoned in sick late Monday night claiming that he was suffering from a case of the sniffles. The Saintsádefeated the Giants Sunday in a 48-27 rout causing Greenberg to grudgingly admit, "I was wrong on that one."
Co-host Mike Golic saidáearly Tuesdayámorning that following Monday'sáprogram, and just before the start of ESPN's evening sportscenter, "Greenie started whining like a three-year-old about feeling like he was catching a cold."
