The Washington Post is reporting the possibility that Clinton Portis could miss the remainder of the 2009 season after sustaining a concussion in Week Nine.
Portis has been ruled out for Week 10's action after lingering effects and headaches persisted, giving back-up Ladell Betts the starting role until he returns.
However, there is speculation that Portis's injury is severe enough that he might not be able to play for two to three weeks, which could render him a candidate for injured reserve with the Redskins already playing in a lost season, standing at 2-6.
