Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley will miss the remainder of the 2009 NFL season with a broken right foot.
He suffered the injury while making a cut on a passing play in Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cooley, who had never missed a game previously in his career, was having a solid season. With 29 catches for 332 yards and two touchdowns, he was on pace for at least 60 catches, 660 yards, and four scores on the season.
He had already topped last season's one touchdown total and was easily one of quarterback Jason Campbell's favorite and most reliable targets.
