ESPN has just reported that there is no video evidence of the night Ben Roethlisberger is accused of sexual assault.
Immediately after the news broke that Roethlisberger had been accused, it was reported that the club did have video evidence, and that they had a weekly cycle, and the evidence would be available for six days.
Apparently, the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) had not subpoena the tapes prior to them be re-recorded over.
There are basically two different types of surveillance systems. One is a computer recorded video. That video, depending on the size of the computer hard drive, the video remains until the hard drive overwrites it. Normally, there are up to, two weeks of video recorded before over-write.
