To be a Jet fan is an exercise in frustration, mediocrity and failure.
The New York Jets escaped Toronto Thursday evening with a 19-13 victory putting themselves back in the playoff picture at 6-6, but at a considerable cost with Mark Sanchez leaving the game with an injured right knee.
In what should have been a easy three-touchdown blowout against an inferior Buffalo Bills squad, the Jets seem to do all they can on and off the field to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.
Already with a brace on that fragile left knee, why is Mark Sanchez not siding after a week of practice with Yankee Manager Joe Girardi?
More importantly, why don't the New York Jets have a credible and competent back-up with NFL experience on this roster when you still have an outside shot at the playoffs?
