The Associated Press has reported that over 20,000 Oakland Raider fans have signed a petition asking owner Al Davis to step down as the team's general manager, and have even bought a billboard reading "Mr. Davis, Do The Right Thing, Hire A GM."
Normally owners should not listen to fans on how to run their teams, but these fans speak the truth.
Since losing Super XXXVII to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Raiders have been the worst team in the NFL. Oakland has only won 27 games since the 2003 season began, and have shown little sign of improvement.
