On Tuesday, NFL owners voted, and we got the result we were expecting. New York City was awarded with the 2014 Super Bowl, which will be held at New Meadowlands Stadium.
This marks the first time in NFL history that the Super Bowl will be played in a cold weather city. New York beat out Tampa and South Florida, two frequent hosts, to win the right to host the big game.
