With the owners opting out of the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, it severely limited the number of unrestricted free agents this year. Only those players who have been in the league six years are now unrestricted, and the top players have already been signed. Almost everyone on this list is either considered “old” by NFL standards, coming off surgery after a productive 2009 season, or trying to return from an injury that hurt his 2009 season.
