It has been a quiet offseason for the Minnesota Vikings and that is the way it should be.
This team was this close to the Super Bowl last year and returns a talented core of veterans in their prime and emerging stars. The Vikings didn't have much to add or change from last year's team.
So far, the biggest free agent acquisition for the Vikings has been kickoff specialist Rhys Lloyd. Quite frankly that was the only thing the Vikings had to do this offseason: add a leg that'll ease the burden on the special teams coverage.
Well, that move, and Brad Childress' brilliant handling of the Favre situation.
