In the Redskins recent mini-camp, the team had Stephon Heyer at left tackle and Artis Hicks on the right side.
Heyer couldn’t cut it on either side last season and has the unofficial Redskins record of giving up safeties in two consecutive games. Entering his fourth year in the league, Heyer has proven to be a mediocre backup at best, yet continues to get the starting call because the team hasn’t drafted an offensive tackle in several years.
