To say that the Browns’ defense has been atrocious over the past decade may be an understatement. Since the reincarnation of the Cleveland Browns in 1999, the team has experienced only two winning seasons in that time period.  The reasons for the lack of winning seasons can be attributed to any of the following: poor drafting, coaching turnover, lack of quality players, front-office mistakes, no running game, etc.  But I think that the biggest reason has been the inability to build a solid defense.
