When you look at Vince Carter's resume you say a career average of 23.0 ppg which is pretty good and you see a Rookie of the Year Award from '99, an Olympic gold medal from 2000 and then there is that 2000 Slam Dunk Championship where Vince put on one of the greatest performances in the history of all sports.
He is hands down the best dunker ever to ever play the game and will go down as one of the most exciting players to ever play. But his career isn't legendary at all and if his career were to end today many believe that he wouldn't make the Hall of Fame.
One thing is for sure, though: Vince Carter is very close to being a future Hall of Famer.
