The native man in Sudan was a fierce player on the NBA court.
He led the league in shots blocked twice. He also was once the tallest man to ever step on an NBA court, standing at 7'7". Along with that, he played 10 seasons in the league and played with four teams in his great career.
On the court, you had to watch out.
Off the court, Bol was one of the nicest and most giving people in the world. He was a humanitarian leader first, and an athlete second.
He was one of the only three players in the NBA born in Sudan. And now crazy things have been going on there. Sometimes, you just have to be sad for others and blessed about yourself.
Bol was one of those people. He was blessed and he wanted to help others, especially in Sudan. He accomplished a lot out of the whole ordeal. ...
