With less than four seconds remaining in regulation, Miami’s star Dwyane Wade went up with a jump shot to put the Heat past the Magic.
As the ball fell short of the hoop while still in the air, forward Michael Beasley grabbed the rock and slammed it down, ending the game with a final score of 99-98.
Just as every other Magic fan, I instantly screamed out, “That’s freakin’ goldtending!”
I believed that there was no way the referees were going to allow the basket and to my utmost surprise…they did.
Post game, I was discussing with a few friends how the Magic would protest the final basket and according to ESPN they have.
