Reports around the NBA Community, are that the Nuggets are interested in signing veteran swingman Flip Murray.
Murray averaged 12.2 points last season in 80 games with the Atlanta Hawks and proved to be an intriguing option down the stretch throughout the playoffs. While acting as the unofficial "Sixth Man", Murray scored 20 or more points 10 times and averaged 11.8 points during Atlanta's postseason run.
Including the playoffs, the Hawks went 9-3 when Murray drained three three-pointers or more with wins over the Hornets, Heat, and the Denver Nuggets.
Should Flip sign with the Nuggets it is believed he will compete with radioactive fifth-year player J.R. Smith for a spot in the starting rotation.
